Important change

Due to the small size of our class, I have moved Exam 4 to Monday Nov. 28. We can fit all our research presentations on Wednesday, Nov. 30.

The supermoon article was not what I was expecting to read! It was actually the opposite. Great refresher though.

Campers, I have the last edition of the freebies! No freebies for the final, :(

1. What phases of the moon give us the highest high tides?

2. Cadmium is a member of what chemical family? (name, not group number)

3. All the planets travel to a good approximation in the orbital plane of the earth, which is called the _________.

4. What is the name of the nearest star to our sun?

5. Substances whose water solution conducts electricity are called _________.

6. List the ideas of Dalton's atomic theory and indicate which ones are not exactly correct and why.

7. Sketch the Hertzsprung-Russell Diagram labeling all important points. What does it show?

There is not a dedicated multiple choice section but. . . lots of formulas, chemical equations, some electron configurations, lots of periodic properties, and much more

Enjoy!

Dr. Robertson,
I would like my final grades. I would like to know the 3 grades for the research project and the final exam grade. I appreciate your time.
